metro and arrives at the University’s front gates at regular intervals.
From Rosslyn Metro stop, the Metro Connection Bus (http://www.georgetowndc.com/shuttle.php)
serves the Georgetown area frequently, approximately every 10 minutes,

From Dulles International Airport
Taxi
Ask the taxi driver to take you to Georgetown University at 37th and
O Streets, Washington, D.C. The ride to Georgetown is long, so expect
to pay $60.00 or more.
Rental Car
Leave the airport using the Dulles Access Road (the only road out
of the airport). Stay on the Access Road - DO NOT take any exits.
After approximately 20 miles you will pass signs for I-495. Stay on
the Access Road, which will eventually take you to I-66 Eastbound.
You will know you have reached I-66 when you make a looping left turn
over a freeway and enter traffic from the right side of the roadway.
Stay on I-66 until you see a sign reading "KEY BRIDGE" and
"The Newseum." The exit for the bridge will be to your right.
Take the exit, continue through two lights, then move into the left
hand lane. At the third light, turn left and move to the center lanes.
Go across the bridge and move into the left lanes. The Key Bridge
dead ends at M Street, turn left onto M Street. Go through one light.
Turn right into Georgetown University (see brick wall painted Hoya
Saxa). Follow signs to visitor parking.
From Reagan National Airport
MetroRail
In the airport terminal look for signs indicating the direction to
the MetroRail. You will be taking the blue line to Rosslyn. If you
have lots of luggage, the MetroRail is not the ideal way to travel,
but if you only have one bag, it is the easiest.
Take the blue line Metro
to Rosslyn. Get off at Rosslyn, go to the top of the escalator stairs,
make a U-turn. and walk out to the street. You should be facing a
Burger King and a McDonald’s (they will be directly across the street).
Turn to your left and walk up the sidewalk until you are at the corner
of 19th and Moore Streets. You will see a blue bus stop sign that
says GU transportation shuttle (GUTS). Wait for the Georgetown University
Transportation Shuttle (GUTS) bus (it is well-marked). The shuttle
will give you a free ride to the University and will let you off in
the heart of campus at the Leavey Center. Please note that the GUTS
bus does not run on Saturday mornings or on Sunday.
Taxi
Tell the taxi driver you want to go to Georgetown University. Expect
to pay at least $15.00. You are crossing from one state into another
and the fees are higher because of this.
Rental Car
Ask your rental car company’s staff for directions to the Key Bridge
in Rosslyn. Since there are many rental car locations, we are unable
to provide specific directions from each one here.
Once you get to the Key
Bridge, cross Key Bridge and turn left onto M Street. Go through one
light. Turn right into Georgetown University (see brick wall painted
Hoya Saxa). Follow signs to visitor parking.
